Who are we?
“Blue Paradise” is a company formed by two British friends living in Portugal. The company is a fully registered Portuguese company with head office in Lisbon.
How are properties selected for the Blue Paradise website?
We do not have a rigid set of criteria for selection of properties. Our aim is to promote those which, in our opinion, offer something special. This may be a combination of the location, the building, the decor, the atmosphere, the charm of the hosts, the level of service, the facilities available. Luxury and sophistication are not necessarily deciding factors.
What happens when I submit an availability request?
Your request is immediately forwarded to the respective property or hotel, and we aim to have a reply for you within 48 hours.
Why should I book through Blue Paradise?
As we are in Portugal and speak the language we are able to offer our clients a personalised advisory service and save you time and hassle when planning your holiday.
In addition, special promotions may enable us to offer you advantageous terms, and you will never be paying more than the property's advertised walk-in price.
Is it safe to make a booking through Blue Paradise?
Our privacy policy ensures that your personal data is only used for the purpose of making your reservations. We do not sell your personal information to any third parties beyond the scope of our reservations service.
How much will it cost me to use the Blue Paradise website?
Nothing. We make no charge or service fee to our customers.
Who, how and where do I pay?
You will pay directly to the properties. As many of our featured properties are small concerns, there are many different forms of payment and many do not work with credit cards. The payment conditions for each property are set out on the respective web page. If you have any doubts or queries, we are here to help!
Will I get confirmation of my reservation?
Yes. We will always send you e-mail confirmation once your reservation has been made. This will include a Blue Paradise booking reference, as well as the address, phone and fax number of the property.
How do I get to the property?
When we confirm your reservation we will send you detailed instructions on how to reach your destination. For your general orientation we recommend that you buy a good road map of Portugal which will enable you to locate the general area where you will be staying. However, particularly in rural areas, some of the locations and access roads will not be shown on the maps so in these cases you will be guided by our directions!
What happens if I need to change or cancel a reservation?
Contact us as soon as possible! Each property has its own policy as regards cancellations which we recommend you read carefully on the respective web page, as this may entail loss of some or all of your payment. However, depending on the timing and the circumstances, we will of course try to negotiate the best solution for you with the property owners.
