My favourites Golf Accommodation
Portugal is considered to be one of the top golfing destinations in the world due to its all-year-round mild climate and its wide variety of impressive golf courses, many of which have been designed by famous architects or professionals and have hosted Open Championships and International Competitions.
A round of golf may take place against the backdrop of a lush green hillside or the blue of the Atlantic Ocean or it may lead you through pine forests, orange groves, wooded valleys, vineyards and exotic vegetation.
There is definitely something to suit all tastes and levels from challenging championship courses to less demanding courses for amateurs and quieter nine-hole courses for beginners.
The majority of the courses are located in the Lisbon and Algarve regions but there are also courses set away from these more common tourist spots and there are new courses being built all the time. Portugal's 'Silver Coast', stretching north from Lisbon up the coast to Peniche, is the latest fast developing golf region in Portugal.
If you feel like a change from the expensive course hotels, Blue Paradise can suggest some special places to stay at or near a golf course. We can also suggest some special offers on green fees.
