1. Introduction
The following paragraphs set out the terms and conditions under which Blue Paradise, Sociedade de Promoção Turística, Lda, will provide its services. The client accepts that he/she will use the site solely in accordance with the present Terms and Conditions and the applicable national law. The use of the services provided by Blue Paradise automatically implies the acceptance of these terms and conditions. The information on the site will be regularly altered and updated by Blue Paradise as and when necessary.

2. Definitions of Terms used
References on the Blue Paradise website to ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refer to the company Blue Paradise Lda. Use of the terms ‘you’, ‘your’, ‘the Client’, ‘he’ and ‘she’ refer to customers using or consulting the website.

3. Communication
Each time the Client uses the services provided by Blue Paradise to reserve or cancel a holiday, he or she should do so in writing. This includes the use of email.

4. Description of the services
The services provided by Blue Paradise consist of the promotion of tourism facilities and services in Portugal, specifically by providing advice and arranging accommodation in properties featured on our website.
Each time the Client uses the services provided by Blue Paradise, changes or cancels a confirmed reservation, the Client receives confirmation via e-mail.

5. Privacy
The personal information stored on the register of subscribers of the site is held in accordance with the rules of the competent Portuguese Authority and is required solely to enable Blue Paradise to process your request.

6. Liability
Blue Paradise operates solely as an intermediary between the Client and the hotels, companies or property owners. Therefore, it cannot be held responsible for any shortfall in the services, damages, accidents or any other irregularities that may occur during the Clients’ stay.
Where we are unable to guarantee the quality of the services for any reason beyond our control, including, but not limited to, war and acts of God, Blue Paradise will not be held responsible for the costs or damages suffered by the Client.

7. Changes in the Facilities Offered
There may be occasions when it is necessary for hotel or property owners to suspend or withdraw certain services. Blue Paradise will endeavour to inform the Client of any changes that may have occurred as quickly as possible in order to minimise any inconvenience, but will not be responsible for such changes.

8. Cancellation of reservation
Cancellations must be confirmed in writing (including e-mail).
If the Client cancels a reservation, he/she will be responsible for any expenses incurred or cancellation charges resulting under the terms and conditions of the particular hotel or property as set out on the respective page of our website.
Where the hotel or property owners no longer provide the services or where these become unavailable, the Client will be compensated by the hotel or property owner under the terms stated on the respective page of our website.

9. Payment
The client will be responsible for making payments directly to the hotel or property owner according to the specific terms and conditions set out on the respective page of our website.
The prices and conditions set out may be changed without notice and should always be checked and confirmed by the Client prior to making the reservation.

10. Links to Third Party Sites
There are several places throughout the Blue Paradise website that may link you to other websites or services operated by third parties. Blue Paradise does not control such websites and can never be held responsible for their content.
When you click through to these websites, the privacy policy of Blue Paradise no longer applies.

11. Copyright
The name “Blue Paradise Sociedade de Promoção Turística, Lda.” and domains ‘www.blueparadise-portugal.com’ are the property of Blue Paradise Lda. and are protected by law.
All texts, photographs and any other elements contained in this site are protected by law.
It is expressly forbidden to copy, reproduce or transmit the same text, photographs, illustrations or any other elements contained in this site without the express authorisation of Blue Paradise.

12. Modification of the Terms and Conditions
Blue Paradise reserves the right to change the terms and conditions under which the services of this website are offered, therefore it is important to confirm the terms and conditions each time the site is consulted.

13. Applicable Law
Any disagreements which may arise between you and us will be dealt with by the competent Courts of Portugal to the exclusion of the Courts of any other country.
